Meet our Leadership

Kristian Carr is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with more than 15 years of experience leading senior care and healthcare organizations. She has built a reputation for strengthening operations, elevating resident experiences, and guiding teams with a people-first, service-driven approach. Kristian holds a Sociology degree from Lane College and is currently pursuing her MBA at Arkansas State University to further deepen her leadership and administrative expertise.
A proud and devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kristian has been recognized both statewide and nationally with multiple Future Leader Awards for her innovation in senior care and commitment to professional excellence. She is known for cultivating strong workplace cultures, encouraging continuous staff development, and achieving “Preferred Workplace” acknowledgments across multiple facilities.
Throughout her career, Kristian has championed the belief that healthcare is both a calling and a ministry. She leads with compassion, accountability, and a focus on operational excellence, ensuring that residents, families, and staff feel supported, valued, and genuinely cared for. Her work reflects a deep commitment to service and a passion for improving the lives of those entrusted to her care.

Pastor Sledge is the Senior Pastor of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, TN, appointed in March 2024. A Memphis native with decades of ministry experience, he has served in pastoral and youth leadership roles across Tennessee and Mississippi, including Brighter Day Ministries, Newtown Baptist Church, True Light Church, and a ten-year pastorate at St. Paul Baptist Church in Millington, where he led community outreach and interdenominational initiatives.
He also directs the I AM HE mentoring program under the I Am She nonprofit, developing boys and young men through teaching, preaching, and mentorship.
Pastor Sledge holds a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies from Crichton College and master’s degrees from Union University and Liberty University, along with CPE chaplaincy training. He has served as district chaplain for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and now serves as National Chaplain and Executive Board Member of the National Panhellenic Council
Known for his transparent, compassionate approach to ministry and grief care, Pastor Sledge envisions River of Life Care Center as a hub of service for the community, promoting faith, character development, and support for the aging and disabled through collaborative outreach.
